Analyze the quality of the carpet in the home

There are two ways to lay carpets in the room: full and partial. The full shop is all carpeted on the ground in the room; the partial shop is carpeted on the ground in the room, and the carpet is not laid under the furniture.

The carpet is paved with two methods of sticking and floating. Sticking is to stick the perimeter of the carpet to the floor with double-sided tape; the floating tile is to spread the carpet on the ground and not stick around.

When using carpets full of carpets, the size and shape of the floor should be carefully measured. The net length and net width of the floor of the room shall be measured along the bottom edge of the skirting board. If the two net length values or the two net width values are different, the larger value shall be taken. If there is a doorway or an empty circle in the room, it should be measured at the bottom of the door leaf or at the outer edge of the air ring. Because the carpet at the door or the empty ring is connected with the carpet in the room, it is not scored, so the net length or net width of the floor in the room should be counted at the door or the empty circle.

When purchasing a carpet, the required length of the carpet is equal to the net length of the room plus the cutting loss rate, and the cutting loss rate is about 0.5% to 1% of the length of the carpet. The width of the carpet is preferably equal to the net width of the room, so that the whole frame is completely laid and material-saving, and the width of the carpet is slightly larger than the net width of the room, so that a small amount can be laid and the waste is not much. If the room is wide, try to make a half-spread, or a few pieces of the entire carpet, and the non-full carpet is left in the unseen wall.

Before laying the carpet, the floor should be cleaned and not wet. The carpet is flat on the ground, cut according to the net length of the room and the shape of the door and the empty circle. The cutting edge is straight and neat.

To stick the carpet, draw the tape on the ground first, and spread the double-sided tape on the ground according to the range. Then stick one end of the wide side of the carpet on the double-sided tape, slowly unfold the carpet, and stick the long side of the carpet to the double-sided tape while spreading, until finally stick the other side of the carpet to the double-sided tape. .

For floating carpets, first align the wide side of the carpet with the ground on the floor, and press it with the weight of the board. Then slowly spread the carpet and flatten it until the other side of the carpet is in place.

For partial paving carpets, floating paving methods are generally used, and for large areas, sticking methods can also be used.

If the carpet is framed, the seams should be arranged so that the edges of the carpet are tight and not overlapping. It is not advisable to have long seams in the room.

The cut edge of the non-full carpet should be at the root of the wall.

If the carpet is smooth or inverted, it should be noted that the hair of the carpet should be in one direction.

If the carpet has a positive or negative pattern, the pattern should be below the doorway, that is, the pattern on the carpet is positive when entering the door, especially the scenery, animals, and plant patterns. If the patterned carpet is to be framed, the pattern should be complete after the stitching.

At the door or in the empty circle, the edge of the carpet shall be pressed with an aluminum alloy bead or a copper bead, and the bead shall be fixed to the ground.
