The following is an example of the HEIDENHAIN high-end CNC system iTNC530, which briefly introduces the application of the system in the real-time data acquisition system of CNC machine tools. First, HEIDENHAIN DNC function First of all, it is necessary to judge whether the DNC (Direct Digital Control) function of the numerical control system is open. Only with the DNC function, the data acquisition system can communicate with the CNC system via the HENDENHAIN DNC software interface. In the WINDOWS operating system development environment, the SDK software development kit provides two software components: COM components and ActiveX controls (Figure 2). These two components are based on Microsoft COM technology and are not restricted by programming languages ​​and can be used in the WINDOWS98/ME/NT4.0/2000/XP development environment. During the installation of the SDK software development kit, these software components are directly registered in the operating system and can be used in the development environment. The software can monitor the operating status of the machine 24 hours a day and record the running time of each state. The data such as the power-on time, power-off time, start-up time, and running time of the obtained machine tool are further analyzed and processed to obtain a more objective equipment utilization rate.
