For Li Rui, a senior in the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Qingdao University of Science and Technology, he has not only designed an internal temperature-controlled energy-saving extruder, but also has been in the company for more than three years. Two works of the automatic solar energy cleaning device successfully printed its own name on a patent certificate, and it even became a “all-round craftsman”.

Invented "Shen Nong" tried all the tricks

"At the time of the conception, I did not think that it was so difficult. When I thought it was too difficult, I had already half done and I was not willing to give up." In 2012, Li Rui, a sophomore named "rookie", and classmates Wei Shuang and Li Hongfei, Hu Die and Zhou Mohan decided to try their own works. The first challenge they face is the difficult solar energy cleaning device. After consulting a large amount of data, Li Rui found that the existing car wipers on the market are not only huge in size, but also consume a lot of water and power. They are used in car wash organizations, and their goal is to design a household wiper. Cars are used exclusively for private car owners at home.

Two ground rails on the ground, movable rails above the floor rails, and brush heads on the brackets. After the private car is driven onto the floor rails, the brackets will automatically move. At the same time, the upper brushes will be sucked on the surface of the car body according to the model. Dust, scrubbing, scouring and other tasks, this is what Li Rui they conceived. However, in the real implementation process, the five inventions "rookie" have encountered countless difficulties. "In the beginning, in order to select the right brush, we bought all the brushes." Over and over again, we bought a variety of bizarre brushes from the surrounding big collections. Li Rui showed the energies of "Shen Nong" and the taste of a hundred herbs. Children, try a variety of different materials, and even the last brush is to go into battle, after buying it, then hand-cut and paste to install on the shelf.

Every day "home" laboratory practice "all-round"

Li Rui said that the material of the brush is only a part of the entire structure. The whole cleaning device has not only a wooden structure but also a variety of mechanical designs. In order to complete these components, Li Rui they all became "blue collars", drilling boards, grinding screws, welding structures ... ... almost all the work done it again, when the hottest summer, several young guys simply shirtless battle . After two consecutive years of hard work, this solar cleaning device was finally released. According to previous calculations, a solar panel was attached, and in just 20 minutes or so, the cleaning device could give a dirty car a new look. In this year's Shandong University students' mechanical and electrical product innovation and design contest held in August this year, this work has won the Excellence Award.

While designing the cleaning device, Li Rui and their team did not think that they were busy enough and started the design of the rubber industry tool extruder.

"Extruders used in the rubber industry are large. The length of the optical controller is about 10 meters, and because of the heat problem, the temperature in the entire workshop is very high." He finally improved the extruder, only one meter long, through the barrel The design of thermal control has changed the original heat dissipation problem, not only the size of the mini but also the heat inside. Now Li Ruihe's two works completed by the team have all obtained patents. Li Rui, who has been rushing to the invention, also moved the location of the “house” from the laboratory to the study room and entered the exam preparation phase.
