During the pyrolysis process, the free radicals produced by the cleavage of the methylene bridge are rapidly absorbed by the phenol molecules, preventing the reaction from proceeding. This phenomenon makes the phenolic foam extremely difficult to burn; phenolic foam The oxygen index is 50, no need to add any flame retardant additives, the flame retardant grade is flame retardant B1 grade.
