But in January-April, the total amount of fasteners imported from Japan by the United States increased by nearly 11% compared with the same period last year. Japan is still the third largest importer of fasteners in the United States.

On the whole, the development of the fastener industry in the United States in 2011 is more optimistic than in 2010, but it will continue to face many challenges in the future.
