In the first half of the year Jiangxi Jiangxi rare earth and other non-ferrous metal exports soared (Figure)

In the first half of this year, exports of tungsten, rare earth and other non-ferrous metals in our province continued to maintain a strong growth trend and played a positive role in boosting the province’s export growth. Jiangxi Provincial Department of Commerce disclosed on the 1st that in the first half of the year, the major non-ferrous metal products of rare earth, tungsten, and silver in our province exported 437 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 2.93 times year-on-year, accounting for 4.9% of the province’s total export value, accounting for an increase compared to the same period last year. 2.73 percentage points.

It is understood that in the first half of the year, the export quota in our province has increased. As the national rare earth export quota has slightly decreased, the number of quotas in our province has increased by 192 tons compared with the previous year. The share of national rare earth export quotas has increased from 10.53% in 2010 to 11.2% in 2011.
