Infrared fence fault question and answer

1. Why does the infrared barrier keep alerting as soon as it is powered on?

Answer: a. Check whether the DC 12V power supply of the emitter is connected correctly and whether the emitter and receiver are aligned. b. When there are 6 beams on the fence, the synchronization line between the emitter and receiver of the fence must be connected.

2. After the infrared fence is installed, why is it blocked between the emitter and the receiver and the fence does not alarm?

A: For example, the infrared fence with an outdoor detection distance of 50 meters actually uses a distance of only 10 meters, so that the infrared emission from the fence emitter is too strong. When someone is blocking between the emitter and the receiver, the infrared light that is blocked by the human body will be absorbed by the human body. The infrared light is refracted to the surrounding objects and then refracted by the surrounding objects to the light receiver. In this way, the receiver can still receive the infrared light emitted by the projector, and there will be no alarm.

Due to the complexity of the outdoor light, the infrared light emitted by the projector will be affected by other light sources. We have a pair of infrared fences that can detect indoor distances of up to 100 meters. When used outdoors, they can only be detected as fences that can detect 50 meters away. The distance is reduced by half. When we leave the factory, the fence “outdoor 50 meters” can be used indoors for more than 100 meters.

It can be seen that if we use a pair of outdoor 50-meter fences within 30 meters of the room, it is equivalent to a fence that can detect more than 100 meters in the room, and you actually installed a detection distance of only 30 meters. In this way, the infrared light emitted by the floodlight of the fence is very strong. People move between the light projector and the light receiver. The fence may occasionally report an alarm, and even this will not alarm.

3. How to solve the infrared barrier installed, it was blocked between the emitter and the receiver, the fence does not alarm phenomenon?

A: The fundamental reason is that the actual distance the infrared barrier is installed is much closer than the barrier can detect. This causes the infrared light emitted by the infrared barrier's emitter to be strong and not easily blocked by objects.

When the actual distance of the infrared barrier is not too far away from the infrared barrier, if there is no alarm or no alarm at all between the emitter and the receiver, we can adjust it. Several pins on the light projector to solve the problem.

There is a set of terminals on the emitter circuit board that determine the distance the emitter emits infrared light: short to "LOW" for near distance, short to "MID" (center) for middle distance, and short to "FAR" (far ) For long distances, we are short-distanced to "FAR" (far) for long-range launch. You can tune the launch distance to medium or close range to solve the above problems.

The meter consists of mass flow sensor and transmitter. Mass flow sensor is a phase-sensitive resonant sensor based on Coriolis effect, composed of vibration tube, signal detector, concussion driver, structural support, shell, etc.

Mass flow transmitter is a micro-programming-centered electronic system, which supplies thrust to sensor, transforms sensor signal into mass flow signal & others, and improves accuracy in accordance with temperature parameter.
It`s composed of switching power supplier, guard grating, core processor board, display module, etc., installed in a ex-proof junction box. Switching power supply offers power for transmitter; safe grating isolates sensor and transmitter intrinsically; core processor detects & processes sensor phase signal, sends mass flow signal and process communication.
