Ingeteam develops and manages energy storage inverters for photovoltaic power plants

Ingeteam announced the development of an Ingecon EMS plant as part of a new battery inverter concept and Ingeteam-wide energy management solution.

The company stated that its inverter was developed specifically for large-scale photovoltaic power plants and successfully passed the test of Tudela Acciona in Navarre, Spain, confirming that it can integrate photovoltaic and energy storage batteries.

The major achievements of the new Ingecon EMS plant can provide the plant with a more stable public power grid, which can deliver stable output power of 80% per minute. The fluctuations are generally caused by changes in solar radiation.

Ingeteam told Optoelectronics in Europe, America, Asia and Africa that the new inverters can be adapted and adapted to all types of projects.

This will be available for indoor and outdoor installations and will provide two different topologies. In the integrated topology (500 to 600 kilowatts), photovoltaic inverters and battery managers are combined in a single device. On the other hand, in the topology (700 to 1000 kilowatts) of the division, the inverter has a dedicated management storage system, but it must be accompanied by a photovoltaic inverter.
