Using steps as follows:

1) .Please soak TiC rods into borax solution, dry them before use. (Borax resolution: deoxygenation process and make sure the tight bonding with TiC rods and wear parts.) [For fresh TiC rods, ignore this step] 2).Weld iron nails onto TiC rods. (electrical arc welding or argon arc welding both OK) The main purpose of iron nails: fix TiC rods in the molds. Because the density of TiC rods is lighter than that of molten steel, to avoid TiC rods floating on the surface of molten steel. Whatever methods adopted, the most important thing is to fix TiC rods in the molds.

3).Put the TiC rods with nails into the mold. (see picture for reference) 4).Pouring molten steel, the casting temperature of molten steel: 1480 degree centigrade for 13% high manganese, and rise temperature accordingly if casting a single wear part over 30kgs.
