Jiangxi Xinyu's first photovoltaic greenhouse was opened in Changfang Village

On August 23, the first photovoltaic greenhouse in Xinyu City was opened in Changfang Village, Kongmujiang Ecological Economic Zone. The project occupies an area of ​​approximately 6 acres and is expected to have a total investment of 4 million yuan. It will be completed and put into use two months later. Amount of 159,000 kwh.

In recent years, relying on the advantages of the photovoltaic industry, Xinyu City is committed to the research and development of solar energy products in the agricultural sector and has achieved initial results. This year, the city has promoted the use of 34,000 solar-powered insecticidal lamps in the fruit industry, vegetable bases, and farms, saving 300 yuan per mu of fruits and vegetables, which is effective in reducing the amount of pesticides and improving water quality. At present, the city has developed and produced series of solar photovoltaic products such as solar insect killer lamps, solar atomizers, and solar energy brush cutters. Solar greenhouses developed by Jiangxi Ruijing Company and Jiangxi Iowa Agricultural Science and Technology Corporation are also used in domestic agricultural fields. It was affirmed by the Ministry of Agriculture that its products were included in the national photovoltaic agricultural product promotion catalogue.

It is understood that the Changfeng photovoltaic greenhouse consists of 660 polysilicon photovoltaic modules, with a total installed capacity of 151,800 Wp. The greenhouse is equipped with 9 systems including greenhouse roof photovoltaic power supply, greenhouse environment automation, and power distribution control. These systems can fine-tune the climatic environment inside the greenhouse so that it can meet the requirements for the growth of various crops.
