MTS software milling simulation is divided into two steps. The first step is to edit the process table, which mainly includes five aspects: input blank parameters, query material type and model, select fixture, select tool and set workpiece coordinate system origin. The second step is to write the machining program, man-machine interactive programming and two methods of writing the program directly in the process table file.
1. Create a process form
1) Input blank parameters
Select the installation method → ​​workpiece → new workpiece menu, according to the shape and structure size of the part, input the length, width and height of the blank are 110, 95, 25 (Figure 1).

Select the workpiece material → Xiang fine selection → display workpiece material menu, open the material type and material type dialog box respectively, then select the workpiece material type and model, and query the mechanical properties of the workpiece material.
3) Select fixture
There are three types of milling fixtures: vice, magnetic chucks and pressure plates.
