Scientists first synthesize special aluminum hydrogen compounds

Washington, January 29 (Reuters) - Scientists from the United States and Germany have successfully synthesized hydrogen aluminum compounds with unique chemical properties. This research result helps people to develop more powerful solid rocket fuels, and it is also expected to be used in hydrogen-powered cars and other energy sources. However, the storage of hydrogen fuel is a major problem. People hope to find solid hydrogen storage materials that effectively “capture” and release hydrogen when needed. Therefore, Bowen believes that although the practical application of new compounds still needs to solve a series of problems, their research will inevitably have an extremely wide range of uses in the hydrogen economy society.
