Description:
Maydos polyurea sprayable coating is used for industrial applications such as belting for mining, pipe linings for handling abrasive slurries and as protective membranes in building. The combination of toughness and high elasticity with the capability of forming seamless membranes is particularly useful in buildings where spray coatings are used to seal insulated flat roofs. It provides a solvent-free thick coating, which combines excellent physical properties, including crack bridging and waterproofing properties as well as abrasion and chemical resistance.

Application Procedure:
1. Substrate preparation:
Steel Surface: derusting by sandblast not below SA 2.5, derusting by hand must attend to ST 3.0. Free of
grease and dirt, clean and dry. Primer coat must be sprayed within 4 hours after derusting.
Painted Surface: remove off the loose and old coating to reveal the concrete surface, suggest to use
sandblast or abrator to polish the bridge surface and clean the dust.
Grease Surface: the grease will terribly effect the adhesion between polyurea coating and substrate, must be completely cleaned off and polish.
New Concrete Surface: guarantee the maintenance period of precast beam, keep bridge surface clean and dry (moisture content≤6%), can use Water wipe machine to flat and smooth the surface.
2. Primer: Mix JD-D10A and JD-D10B according to 3.5:1 by weight, the consumption is 0.45kg/sqm. The main
purpose of this primer is to seal the substrate completely and avoid air-bubbles in the body coat. The paint
should be stirred evenly after mix, then apply directly with roller or spray machine. Wait for 4 hours to recoat.
3. Top coat: Mix JD-905A and JD-905B based on 1.1:1 and then apply the mixture with spray coating machine.
The consumption is 1.2- 2.5kg/sqm, film thickness will be 1-2mm. Wait for no more than 4 hours to recoat.
Application Instructions:
Mixing: Pour A and B into the barrel according to the mixing ratio and stir evenly. Don't scrape out the mixed
paint on the wall or at the bottom of the barrel which may be not mixed completely.
Reference consumption:
Primer: 0.45 kg/sqm
Top coat: 1.2-2.5 kg/sqm
Film Thickness: 1-2 mm

Health and safety information
It contains certain chemicals which can cause skin irritation. Wear gloves, masks while handling the product,
washing thoroughly after handling. Should skin contact occur, wash immediately with soap and water.
During application and curing in closed rooms, adequate fresh air ventilation must be provided. Keep away
from open flames including welding.
In case of accidental eye contact, wash with a large quantity of water and immediately seek medical advice.
