In the first half of 2007, Zhengzhou High-tech Zone superhard material industry cluster was approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology Pilot Industrial Cluster, Henan Kastong Superhard Materials Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Abrasives Grinding Research Institute, Zhengzhou Synthetic Diamond and Products Engineering Technology Research Center. The public technology research and development platform for superhard materials and raw materials, super-hard materials and product testing technology service platform, super-hard materials and synthetic equipment public technology research and development platform, respectively, received 2.1 million unpaid funds from the Ministry of Science and Technology. The Ministry of Science and Technology will also support the other six public platforms of the superhard materials industry cluster of Zhengzhou High-tech Zone in the next two years not less than 2 million yuan.
