The 2000 series is an aluminum plate with copper as the main alloying element. The copper content can reach 2%-5% or higher depending on the application. The hardness of the 2000 series is much higher than that of other grades. Because of the 2000 series of aluminum alloy plates commonly used in aerospace, it is also called aviation aluminum. Due to the fact that the civil use is not very extensive, there are currently fewer factories producing 2000 series aluminum alloy plates. The same 2000 series aluminum prices are also relatively high. At present, the 5052 series has basically replaced the 2000 series in the civil sector.

The 3000 series is an alloy aluminum sheet with manganese as the main alloying element. The manganese content is between 2-5%. Representative series of 3000 series include 3003 aluminum plate and 3A21 aluminum plate. The main reason is that the 3000 series aluminum plate has a certain anti-rust performance, widely used in air conditioning, refrigerators and other wet environments, widely used in pipe insulation and corrosion. The price is very big compared to other alloy plates

The 4000 series of aluminum alloy plates with silicon as the alloying element are not widely used at present.

The 5000 series is a representative series of alloy aluminum plates. There are mainly and other brands. It is a commonly used aluminum alloy plate in China and internationally. Take the 5052 series as an example to talk about the 5000 series of aluminum. The advantage is that the proportion is light, the proportion of 5052 aluminum plate is 2.68, and the weight of 5052 aluminum plate under the same area is lower than other brands of aluminum plate. 2. High tensile strength. The tensile strength of 5052 is higher in the same specification aluminum plate, and it has better resistance to deformation. 3. Excellent extensibility, the elongation rate of 5052 aluminum plate is 15-30%, which can ensure stamping, bending and good effect. 4 The main alloying element is magnesium, which has the properties of magnesium and has good corrosion resistance and rust-proof effect. It is unmatched by the 3003 series. The 5.5052 series also has good anodizing properties that can further enhance the chemical advantages. Therefore, 5052 series aluminum plates are often used in aircraft fuel tanks, precision electronic components, hardware and building materials, security doors, etc. which require high strength and good corrosion resistance.

The 6000 series is a combination of 4000 and 5000, the main alloying elements including silicon and magnesium, representing the grade 6061-T6 aluminum plate. It is a solid heat-melted aluminum plate.

In the 7000 series, 7075 is the main representative aluminum plate. Mainly reflected in the hardness, performance and 2000 series is very close. Not commonly used at present. Basically replaced by 5000 series
