From September 19, we held the 10th China Solar Photovoltaic Conference and Exhibition in Changzhou. It has been a full 3 days until now. It is coming to an end.

This year, a total of 230 scientific papers were included in the conference. More than 1,000 delegates attended the conference; over 500 exhibitions were held at this year’s convention, 222 domestic and foreign exhibitors, and 1,100 exhibitors representing more than 3.4 visitors. Ten thousand people. No matter the number of conference delegates or exhibitors, it is the largest one in the previous photovoltaic conferences, which fully reflects the prosperity of scientific research and development and industrial development in China's photovoltaic industry.

During the conference, Feng Liangfu and seven other colleagues who have made outstanding achievements in photovoltaic research and industrial development in China have awarded China Solar PV Suntech Achievement Award, Suntech Honorary Award and Tianhe Quality Award, and 14 outstanding articles. Proceedings. During the conference, 8 well-known scholars and entrepreneurs were invited to make invitations to the conference to conduct research and development on the development of the photovoltaic industry, the quality of photovoltaic companies, and the development of the photovoltaic industry in silicon materials, silicon thin-film solar cells, and compound solar cells. Wonderful elaboration. During the conference, hundreds of delegates participated in 6 professional clubs' report meetings. More than 100 peers reported the latest developments in the photovoltaic research field in all directions, and had enthusiastic academic exchanges and discussions with delegates. During the meeting, three special forums were also organized. Participating experts and representatives of enterprises held heated discussions and exchanges on topics such as the photovoltaic industry, silicon materials, and thin-film batteries. They reached the goal of sharing and learning from each other, and enabled the majority of photovoltaic industry and scientific and technical personnel to be more confident in the future of the photovoltaic industry. . At the same time, in the PV exhibition, the technology and products exhibited by the participating exhibitors also attracted great attention from participants and visitors. The conference was supported by more than 140 Chinese and foreign media. Xinhua News Agency, China News Service, Reuters, People’s Daily, Science and Technology Daily, 21st Century Business Herald, CCTV, Jiangsu TV Station, and Changzhou Daily all performed timely and accurate The report was also highly rated by friends of the big media. They all agreed that this is the most successful event in the photovoltaic industry.

Through the discussion of the meeting, we know that in the past two years, China has made some important breakthroughs in the field of photovoltaics, such as:

(1) The average efficiency of the monocrystalline silicon industrialization production line exceeds 17.5%, and breakthroughs have been made in the selection of emitter (SE) cell preparation techniques, Ga-doped and Ge-doped silicon crystal preparation techniques.

(2) The efficiency of the silicon thin-film cell reached new heights, with an efficiency of 10.6% for a single-chamber deposited amorphous silicon/microcrystalline silicon laminate cell and a single-cell high-speed single-junction microcrystalline silicon cell with an efficiency of 9.3%. The efficiency of the layered battery reached 11.3%, and the efficiency of the amorphous silicon/microcrystalline silicon laminated battery on the flexible stainless steel substrate reached 9.5%.

(3) Construction of a pilot line for thin film batteries of CdTe and CuInSe compounds was completed. The efficiency of the CdTe cell 993.6 cm2 module reaches 8.25%, the efficiency of the CuInSe 1 cm2 thin-film battery reaches 13.9%, the efficiency of the 100 cm2 integrated module reaches 8.9%, and the efficiency of the battery reaches 10.6% on the 1 cm2 flexible stainless steel substrate.

(4) Solar cells manufactured using polysilicon purified by physical metallurgy have been successfully industrialized for the first time in the world.

(5) New progress has been made in the domestic improvement of polysilicon production with Siemens technology. The reduction furnace power consumption is lower than 85 kWh/kg, and the integrated power consumption is lower than 150 kWh/kg. and many more.

The conference strengthened the exchanges and cooperation between academia and industry, reached the academic service for the industry, and provided good development and financial support for the academic industry. It has become a platform for exchanges and cooperation among peers. At the same time, we also noticed that many people who are not in the photovoltaic industry also participated in this conference. They obtained a lot of useful information through listening to reports, seeing exhibitions, and participating in discussions. We believe that in the near future, more friends will join the photovoltaic industry and work together to make China's photovoltaic industry bigger and stronger.

The 10th China Solar PV Conference and Exhibition is coming to an end. We are very pleased to see that the conference has achieved its expected tasks.
