Window sill height

In general residential buildings, the height of the window sill is required to be not less than 0.9 m. When the height of the window sill is less than 0.8 m, protective measures should be taken. In public buildings, the height of the window sill varies from 1.0 to 1.8 m, and the sash that opens to the public walkway shall have a height of not less than 2.0 m.

Window height

In a typical residential building, the height of the window is 1.5 m, and the height of the window sill is 0.9 m, and the window top is 2.4 m from the floor surface. The height of the window should be determined according to the requirements of lighting, ventilation, space image, etc., but pay attention to the problem of excessive stiffness of the window. If necessary, add beams or "scraping". In public buildings, the height of the whole glass has exceeded 7.2m, which is no longer the scope of ordinary windows.

Window width

The window width generally starts from 0.6m. According to the standard of the building standard, the width modulus of the general building opening is 300mm, that is, the general width is 600mm, 900mm, 1200mm, 1500mm, and so on. It should be noted that when the window is too wide, vertical keels or “scraping” should be added. Otherwise, the stiffness of the window is easy to occur.

Door height

The door for people to pass, the height is generally not less than 2m, and the height should not exceed 2.4m. Otherwise, there is a sense of emptiness and the door leaf production needs to be specially strengthened. If shape, ventilation, and lighting are required, a waist window can be added to the door. The height is from 0.4m, but it should not be too high.

The door for the passage of vehicles or equipment shall be determined according to the specific circumstances, and its height shall be 0.3 to 0.5 m higher than that of the vehicle or equipment, so as to avoid the vehicle colliding with the door frame due to bumps or equipment when the drum is required to be transported. As for the clearance requirements for all types of vehicles, check the corresponding specifications.

If it is a large-scale, large-space building such as a stadium or an exhibition hall, when an over-scale door needs to be installed, a conventional-sized door can be added to the door leaf for people to pass when the door does not need to be opened.

Nowadays, there are many inspection doors for various equipment wells in the building. It is not a place that often passes. Therefore, the upper frame height is generally lower than that of the ordinary door, and the lower threshold is still the same as the baseboard. The net height is high. You don't have to be 2m, about 1.5m. Hotel rooms, the door height is ≥2.1m.

Door width

The average residential door is 0.9 to 1 m, the sub-door is 0.8 to 0.9 m, the kitchen door is 0.8 m, and the bathroom door is 0.7 to 0.8 m. Due to the consideration of the modern furniture, the upper limit is taken. The width of the door of a public building is generally 1m for a single door and 1.2 to 1.8m for a double door. The width of the door should be considered for the width of the door. The width of the door of the double or multi-door is 0.6~1.0m. The width of the door of the hotel room is generally ≥0.9m, and the width of the bathroom door is ≥0.75m.
