IC product grade industry standard

The definition of product grade is mainly based on the outer packaging of the product, and the grades are arranged in alphabetical order from A to E:

Class A1: original production, original packaging, anti-static packaging complete (Note: from the formal channels or independent distributors, the maximum reliability of the product within the specified warranty period, that is, "new original products")

Class A2: original production, original packaging, anti-static packaging is incomplete, has been opened (Note: from the formal channels or independent distributors, in the required warranty period, that is, "new goods")

Level A3: Original production (Note: Factory backlog or surplus material, batch number is unified. It is possible that the production date is earlier. That is, "factory leftovers")

Note: Class A1, A2 and A3 are collectively referred to as "new goods" in the market.

B1 level: Non-original packaging or non-packaged, unused, may be repackaged by the seller (Note: Original production, but for some reason has not been packaged, the product batch number is unified, the original factory uniform marking. Through special Channels flow into the market, product quality reliability is uncertain)

B2 level: non-original packaging or no packaging, unused, may be repackaged by the seller (Note: The original factory production, but for some reason is not printed on the surface of the product, the product quality and reliability are uncertain. Type products will be rebranded by the dealer.)

B3 level: Non-original packaging or no packaging, unused, may be repackaged by the seller (Note: The original factory production, but for some reason has not been packaged, the product batch number is not uniform, the original factory uniform marking. If a special channel enters the market, the product quality and reliability are uncertain. Generally, this kind of product will be rebranded by the distributor.

Grade B4: Unused, packaged (Note: Produced by the original manufacturer, but the product storage environment is not suitable, or the product is stored for too long. The product pin is oxidized. The product quality is uncertain)

Note: Classes B1, B2, B3, and B4 are collectively referred to in the market as "new bulk goods."

Class C1: Produced by non-original manufacturers, brand new unused, fully packaged (Note: Some products produced by the mainland, Taiwan or other overseas countries or regions, are completely packed and packaged in accordance with the specifications of the original brand factory, with the same function. And printed with the original brand name. Product quality is uncertain. Not as good as the original authentic quality and reliability (ie "imitation products")

C2 level: brand new is not used (Note: The product with the same or similar function will be replaced with the original label and replaced with another product label. That is, "replacement of alternatives", and the market will be collectively referred to as "alternatives").

D1 level: no packaging, used, no damage to the product pins, belonging to old goods. May be re-packaged by the seller (Note: Directly removed from the old circuit board, such as some DIP, PLCC, BGA package can be directly unplugged, that is, "tired")

D2 level: no packaging, belonging to used goods. It may be repackaged by the seller (Note: The direct removal from the old circuit board, the pin is shortened. Such products may be processed later, the pin has been shortened lengthened or lengthened. "Old film clips")

D3 level: no packaging, belonging to old goods. It may be repackaged by the seller (Note: Remove from the old board, Solder is affixed to the pins, and the pins are reprocessed. Namely “old piece”)

D4 level: no packaging, belonging to old goods. May be repackaged by the seller (Note: Remove from the old circuit board, soldering tin solder on the pins. Reprocess the pins and re-mark. That is, "old refurbished film")

D5 level: no packaging, belonging to old goods. May be repackaged by the seller (Note: Used goods, but it is a programmable device, built-in program can not be erased)

Note: Classes D1, D2, D3 and D5 are collectively referred to as “tires” in the market.

E1 level: no packaged goods. May be repackaged by the seller (Note: The original factory production, product quality did not pass the quality inspection. This should be destroyed, but through a special channel to the market. The quality is not reliable. That is, "external goods," the market collectively "Defective")

E2 level: no packing goods. It may be repackaged by the seller (specify: change the industrial level of some products to the military grade. The quality is very unstable, and the potential safety hazard is great. That is, “reclassification”, the market collectively referred to as “counterfeit goods”)

E3 level: no packing goods. May be repackaged by the seller (Note: Products that are completely unrelated to the customer's needs are typed. Some have the same appearance and some have different appearances. This means “counterfeit”, and the market collectively refers to “counterfeit”).

Level T1: Full package (Note: A product that was originally made by the original customer for a specific user. It may be available only for this user product)

T2 level: complete package (Note: The third party uses the original chip wafer to package. The product quality is generally reliable. Generally, the chip is discontinued)

Note: T1 and T2 are collectively referred to as "special products" in the market.
