Recently, Hunan Provincial Renewable Aluminum Processing Furnace Smelting Furnace Engineering Technology Research Center (hereinafter referred to as “the Centerâ€) established by Hunan Baling Furnace Energy Conservation Co., Ltd. passed the inspection and acceptance. During the establishment period, the center has established a total investment of 34 million yuan, an additional 12,000 square meters of experimental sites, 80 new instruments and equipment, and completed the optimization of the structure of recycled aluminum smelting furnace, rotary regenerative preheater, and no bypass. There are 19 technical studies, such as reversing regenerative combustion systems and silicon carbide metal combined air preheating systems. The center has obtained a number of scientific and technological achievements, applying for 26 patents, authorizing 9 items, and has accepted 17 patents for inventions. One patent has been applied for in the five countries of the United States, Brazil, Mexico, India and Vietnam and has been accepted. Through the achievement appraisal of two items, one technology ranks the leading domestic level, one technology reaches the international advanced level; passed the energy conservation technology certification of the China Quality Certification Center; the quality and technology supervision bureau filed four enterprise standards; one technology was selected as the National Key Energy Saving Low-carbon technology promotion catalogue; won the second prize of the city science and technology progress award, and the third prize of the provincial science and technology progress award. Twenty key technical talents were trained, and the practice base for the graduates of the design and manufacturing of recycled aluminum melting furnaces was completed, and the training base for employees in the design and manufacturing of recycled aluminum melting furnaces was completed. The use of funds is reasonable. The center will take the next step to actively play a central role in radiation, and strive to build the center into an energy-saving equipment research and development, technology innovation, results transformation and demonstration, and personnel training in industrial furnaces with certain influence in China. Promote the technical level of energy-saving equipment for industrial furnaces in Hunan Province and even China, and make greater contributions to the development of China's industrial energy-saving equipment industry.
