At present, China's electrolytic aluminum technology belongs to the international upper-class level, but compared with the advanced level of foreign countries, the life difference of electrolytic cell is 500-1000 days. How to extend the life of aluminum electrolytic cell has become a big problem that needs to be studied and solved in the development of aluminum industry in China.
On the basis of comprehensive research on the life status and main influencing factors of electrolytic cell in China, this project puts forward the research direction and corresponding technical measures to eliminate the key technologies of early damage, maintain medium-term operation and strengthen the monitoring in the late stage.
The technical innovations of the project are as follows:
1. The project will integrate the research on new technologies, new processes and new materials, and conduct industrial trials and popularization on some of the different types of large pre-baked tanks of China Aluminum Corporation. Through the implementation of the project, the average life of the electrolytic cell of Chinalco has been increased by 300 days, and the benefit generated is 56.07 million yuan.
At present, China's electrolytic aluminum industry is in the period of industrial restructuring.
