The food and beverage industry is a classic example of exposure to demanding production processes. The new generation of WD series inductive sensors are uprox+ sensors designed for applications in the food and beverage industry and harsh heavy industrial environments such as rolling mills. This series uses the same multi-coil technology and patented coil arrangement as the standard uprox+ sensor. The coil also uses printed circuit board technology and uses a new type of ASIC. The WD series of uprox+ sensors are available in different housing styles such as M12, M18 and M30. In accordance with DIN 40050-9 and EN 60529 standards, in combination with the FB series of connectors, the sensor can be protected to IP69K, thus maximizing the reliable operation of the control system and the hygienic requirements of the relevant industry. Stainless steel connectors (VA4-1.4404) and PVC clamps and wires allow these connectors to be uprox®; + WD sensors are the ideal accessories for the food and beverage industry.
