Moving safes to fight

After 29-year-old Ma came to Beijing from Heilongjiang, he used his strength to be a porter in a logistics company in Daxing. In the work he observed that there were always villas that were dark at night because they were uninhabited. The owners of these villas often rely on the security of the community and therefore have not taken anti-theft measures. Ma in the heart of joy, began to go to some villa areas or high-end community checkpoints.

At 22 o'clock on May 27, 2014, he came to the South Gate of a villa area outside Dongzhimen and claimed that he would go to the villa to find someone. The security guard let him in. When Ma came to the door of a single-family villa, he noticed that the inside of the villa was dark and no one answered the doorbell. He smashed the window and drilled it inside. Soon he moved out of a bedside table-sized safe and later picked up a box of maotai and called a taxi to move the safe and wine into the car and leave the area.

The next day, the Dongcheng Branch Criminal Investigation Detachment received a report. The report person claimed that the stolen safe had more than 40,000 yuan in cash, and the Sinopec refueling card with a denomination of 10,000 yuan and various official seals, company business licenses, company checks, and other items. A box of wine, the total value of the loss is about 62,000 yuan. After the police conspired, they found that other districts and counties had also experienced theft of a similar villa safe.

As a result, the police quickly set up the "May 28" task force and rushed to the scene to investigate. During the investigation, the investigators retrieved the surveillance video from the villa area and found that a male suspect took two rectangular objects to a taxi in the district around 22:08 on the same day and then took the taxi. go away.

Change the black car to sell 赃

After this clue, the task force investigators found the taxi driver overnight. The driver said that the man put a safe and a box of wine into the trunk of the taxi, along the Second Ring Road to the Yuquan Camp on the Beijing-Kaikou Highway, out of the Jingliang Road junction, west of Jingliang Road, and the man proposed to alight on the way. He found a black car and moved the safe and wine to the black car.

On May 28 and 29, the investigators conducted investigation visits on Jingliang Road for two consecutive days to find the driver of the black car. Hard work pays off. At 22 o'clock on May 29th, the investigators found Zhang, a black car driver who pulled the job. Zhang admitted that when he was living on Jingliang Road, a man moved a safe and a box of wine into his car. While passing by a car repair shop on the way, the man borrowed a large hammer to open the safe and remove the contents. Afterwards, the man got off the road and found a black car from the side of the road. He moved a box of wine to the black car and threw away the damaged safe.

The investigators immediately began to find another black car driver and found the black car driver Lee on the south side of Liangxiang. Lee told the investigators that he drove the car to the door of a smoke hotel where the men moved in.

The smoke hotel owner Wang told the police that at zero hours on the same day, a man moved a box of Maotai to sell in his shop. Wang confirmed that it was real wine and received a box of 10 bottles of Maotai at a price of 500 yuan per bottle. The man provided Wang with a bank account, and Wang sent 5,000 yuan to the account.

After checking the remittance account, the account was named Chen. The investigators found Chen again. Chen said that the card was borrowed by his brother’s friend Ma. At this point, the suspect who stole the safe was locked by the police.

Gambling loses more than 100,000

At 16:00 on June 5, 2014, investigators captured Ma in front of a bathing gate in Xihongmen Town, Daxing District. After questioning, Ma confessed to the burglary of a villa safe case.

Ma had no previous criminal record. His characteristic of committing crimes was bold. He said that people living in villas are particularly rich. He usually checks spots in the villa area first, then hides in the district and waits until the night to commit crimes. They specialize in villas and windows that are not in their homes. They mainly steal safes and valuables. Alcohol, alcohol, wenwan, etc., and then take a taxi to leave, and once stole more than 200,000 yuan in cash from a villa in the suburbs. Since October last year, Ma said he has burgled 14 cases. At present, the police have verified 11 cases, two of which involved the theft of safes and the total value of stolen items was about 500,000 yuan.

Although Ma had stolen hundreds of thousands of yuan worth of property within half a year, he had only 10,000 yuan left over when he was arrested. The illicit money has been basically squandered. Originally, Ma usually spends money and generously, spends the night in the bathing city, and likes to gamble. He often rushes to go after gambling, and he once lost more than ten million yuan. At present, Ma has been detained by criminals.

The reporter learned from the handling of the case that the police found that the safe stolen by Mr. Ma was 56 centimeters tall and about 100 kilos. It may be heavier for ordinary people, but for the dry handling work, Ma moved from the house to the villa. The entrance is easy. Therefore, every time Ma enters the house, he will see if there is a safe. He believes that all those who live in the villa are rich and like to store valuable items in safes. Although the safe was difficult to open, Ma took it straight away and transported it to the wilderness and then opened it with a hammer.

The police told the reporter that if there are no anti-theft measures such as the installation of alarms, safes made of thick steel plates are not necessarily safe. The police have suggested that thieves will also take advantage of various methods to exploit loopholes in high-grade residential areas with tight security measures. Therefore, owners of high-end residential or villa areas should install anti-theft alarm devices or monitoring probes at home as much as possible. At the same time, the owners try not to store large amounts of cash at home, and valuable items must be properly stored.
