Samsung develops new car wireless charging equipment with high cooling efficiency

Foreign media reported that the US Patent & Trademark Office (US Patent & Trademark Office) announced a Samsung (Samsung) patent application for automotive wireless charging equipment. The patent application states that the wireless charging device can wirelessly forward electrical energy in the form of electromagnetic waves to devices without transmission lines. Now, there are various wireless charging solutions on the market, for example, magnetic induction solutions, self-resonance solutions, etc.

In wireless charging, because there is no alignment between the internal parts of the wireless charging, it will cause a decrease in efficiency and generate heat. Generally, a fan can be used to use the forced air convection scheme to cool the wireless charging device. However, in the forced convection scheme, since the air channel of the wireless charging device is limited, there may be a limitation in cooling efficiency. If the cooling of the wireless charging device is insufficient, it will bring certain restrictions on the use.

Samsung's invention provides a wireless charging device, the heat generated during wireless charging can be reduced, that is, the cooling efficiency can be improved.
