China's non-ferrous metal output maintained steady growth in January-May 2012

The output of non-ferrous metals continued to grow steadily from January to May 2012. From January to May, the output of ten non-ferrous metals in the country was 14.25.93 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.06%. In May, the output of non-ferrous metals in this month was 3.0457 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.59%. At present, the output of some products is based on the production of various major products:

Primary aluminum (electrolytic aluminum): The cumulative production in January-May was 7,840,400 tons, an increase of 10.59% year-on-year. The output increased steadily, an increase of 6.57 percentage points over the same period of the previous year; the production in the month of May was 1,682,500 tons, an increase of 8.95%. Compared with the same period of last year, the increase rate was 0.06 percentage points.

Metal lead: The cumulative production in January-May was 1,609,400 tons, down 5.13% year-on-year, narrowing by 31.34 percentage points over the same period of the previous year; the output in May was 373,900 tons, up 13.48% year-on-year, an increase over the same period of the previous year. 4.57 percentage points.

Metal zinc: The cumulative production in January-May was 1,934,600 tons, down 6.93% year-on-year, which was 12.06 percentage points lower than the same period of the previous year. The output in May was 386,500 tons, down 4.7% year-on-year, an increase of 2.1 over the same period of the previous year. Percentage points.

Metal nickel: The cumulative production in January-May was 77,400 tons, up 2.32% year-on-year, narrowing by 29.07 percentage points over the same period of last year. Metal tin: Cumulative production in the first five months was 57,900 tons, up by -7.23% year-on-year, which was 18.53 percentage points lower than the same period of the previous year. The output in May was 11,600 tons, up -12.46% year-on-year. It narrowed by 15.68 percentage points.

Metal bismuth: Cumulative production in the first five months was 76,700 tons, up 1.06% year-on-year, narrowing by 3.57 percentage points over the same period of last year. The output in May was 17.9 million tons, up by -1.73% year-on-year. Narrow 3.43 percentage points.

Electrolytic copper (refined copper): The cumulative production in January-May was 2,380,200 tons, an increase of 8.36% year-on-year, an increase of 5.13 percentage points over the same period of the previous year; the output in May was 485,300 tons, an increase of 5.37% over the same period of last year. Narrowed by 6.81 percentage points.

Magnesium metal: Cumulative production from January to May was 259,900 tons, down 6.41% year-on-year, narrowing by 24.08 percentage points over the same period of last year; May production was 59,900 tons, up by -3.22% year-on-year, narrowing the growth rate over the same period of last year. 11.02 percentage points.

Sponge Titanium: Cumulative production from January to May was 42,300 tons, up 14.22% year-on-year, 10.23 percentage points narrower than the same period of the previous year; May production was 10.2 million tons, up 16.26% year-on-year, narrowing by 5.18 compared with the same period of last year.
