Jiaxing City labor protection supplies special law enforcement actions successfully concluded

From August 1st to September 10th, the special enforcement action of the city’s labor protection products organized and organized by the Jiaxing City Safety Supervision Bureau was successfully completed. According to statistics, the city conducted a total of 622 law enforcement inspections of production and business units, including 179 hazardous chemicals, 21 metallurgy, 155 textiles, 33 building materials, 32 furniture, 49 hardware and other 153, and 565 on-site inspection records. 93 prescriptions for rectification within the time limit; 195 enterprises that did not meet the requirements, including 6 that were not equipped with labor protection products, 51 that were not allocated according to regulations, and 22 that dispensed safety signs without special labor protection articles. One of 115 unqualified labor protection articles and 115 employees were incorrectly used; 2 were investigated and handled, and a fine of 20,000 yuan was imposed.

From the perspective of this special inspection, most production and business entities can establish systems for the purchase, distribution, and use of labor protection supplies in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, set up special funds, have purchase and release records, and expired and retired. Labor protection supplies are replaced in time. Most employees can use and wear correctly according to regulations and requirements, and can basically grasp the performance and role of labor protection products. At the same time, it has also found that a small number of enterprises have incomplete account information, purchase and use of special labor protection articles without safety signs, and a few employees do not wear or improperly wear out the issued labor protection articles.
