This usage is very common in the local area, and I don’t know if it is scientific and reasonable.

This is also called The chemical fixation of water-soluble phosphate fertilizer, while the root system of pepper crops is mainly distributed in 0-30 cm, and is fixed by water-soluble phosphorus, which makes phosphorus not be absorbed and utilized by roots and becomes ineffective. Second, because of the poor mobility of water-soluble phosphate fertilizer in the soil, in order to increase the root absorption and utilization of crops. The principle of efficient application of phosphate fertilizer is to increase the contact surface of phosphate fertilizer with the root system, and to reduce the contact between the water-soluble phosphate fertilizer and the large surface of the soil to produce rapid chemical fixation. Therefore, it is better to promote water-soluble phosphate fertilizer with small particles, relatively concentrated, and layered fertilization is better. Third, in view of the special requirements of the phosphorus trophic period of the main crops, the application of the soil profile to the depth of the root concentration, water-soluble phosphate fertilizer should be used as a seed fertilizer, a small amount of shallow application and base fertilizer, a large number of deep application of reasonable methods.
